Viruses, Worms and Trojans

One thing I have been thinking of lately is adding a new section to Aleeya.net based on viruses, worms and Trojans. So, I have Added the JAG Block to the left which shows the newest viruses/Trojans/worms, highest threats, removal tools, and security advisories. The reason for this: to make more people aware of the dangers of worms, viruses and Trojans. The more people that are aware, hopefully the more that will be protected and not get ‘hit’ by these.

I have not abandoned the idea of making a section on Viruses, Worms and Trojan Horses. In fact, it has been just the opposite. While I have been on the road, I have been doing a lot of reading and research on the topic. Soon, I plan on adding the new section to Aleeya.net with a lot of current information on identifying, fixing and protecting from Viruses and malware.

Spyware and Adware

It has become more of an annoyance than viruses have. It can creep into your computer and slow your computer and your internet connection down to a crawl. It can make a brand new computer more sluggish than a computer that is 4 years old. d unknowingly, you may even be installing it.

It is known as Spyware and Adware. Supposedly, it is installed legally when you install a good, legitimate program when you click on the NEXT, button and you have acknowledged you have read the terms to install a program. Along with installing your program, you may be installing Spyware and Adware as well.

From taking statistics from your hardware and software installed on your computer, tracking the websites and surfing habits on the internet and reporting it to another companies server and hijacking your start page on your web browser (or Homepage) to using up your computers processing speed and bandwidth on the internet and many other things, Spyware and Adware can invade your privacy and security without you even being aware.

In the near future, I plan on devoting some time to making a section on Aleeya.net to recognizing and getting rid of Spyware and Adware and how to do what you can to prevent it from compromising your computer, security, privacy.. and even your sanity.
