I have had some things come up, and I must take a break for a while. In the meantime, I will be working on some modifications on the site. Since everything I modify is seen live , do not be surprised if you see things change around a bit.

Sections

I decided some of the sections were too broad and long. I have divided some of the technical info sections into smaller sections such as Internet Info, Networking info, Security Info, Wireless Info and Computer Tech info. This will make it shorter to view in the index and much more organized to search and read.

Spyware and Adware Section

I redid the spyware and adware section so it would be easier to read and navigate in. My intentions are to redo all sections this way.
Web Design Tools

A few more web design tools were added (Thanks to GUIStuff) and the tools that had the dark background loading have now been corrected so they have a white background and are easier to read
Old Aleeya.net & Aleeya.dhs.org

It is amazing what you can find on the internet! This morning, about 2am, I was surfing and happen to run into sole old screenshots of my site. I thought I would share with you what aleeya.net has looked like over the years. Aleeya.net has gone through many changes, and it probably always will!
The small graphic to the left will take you to October, 2000 when Aleeya.net was actually Aleeya.dhs.org
(Does anyone remember DHS.org? If I could remember my old password, I would point it to this site!)
The blue and black graphic to the left will take you to a screenshot of Aleeya.net when it was first born in October of 2001.
This blue and white graphic to the left will take you to a different version of Aleeya.net from November, 2002.
Sections Icons

I have searched high and low for the perfect font, dingbats, shapes and icons to be put in the Sections. Well.. the most OBVIOUS solution was right in front of me. I made Emoticon Smileys! Inspired by a T shirt my husband has, I thought what better set of icons on my site.. than the smileys I made!
Awards

The awards section has been completely redone. Since not all of the awards have been transferred over yet, I still have left the old pages done until I have them transferred over.
Books

Google Page Rank, Search Engine Optimization

One of the new things that I have really been working on is getting my Google page rank up. Google.com uses other pages linking to yours, along with keywords and other information, to make Page Ranks. The one thing I have noticed is that when I enter my site as http://www.aleeya.net to see Google’s Page Rank, I get a 4/10. BUT, if I use http://aleeya.net , I get a 5/10. Interesting to say the least. I find other search engines have aleeya.net rather than www.aleeya.net linking to my site. I guess this is something I will be working on 
To me, the whole search engine optimization is like a puzzle. What is good for Google might not be good for the other search engines. My goal here is to find a happy medium optimized for all!
Books

I am working on the new books section. This one will have more books, the links will take you to a new window if you want to see more. I have to work on the navigation "Live" So there may be some pages that I put up just to work on the navigation that are in the process of being finished. Also, once the navigation is finished, I am going back and adding the open in new window and the title to each picture. So, these may not be done when a page is first added.
Books

As you read this, I am busy working on the Books section. The old version never really got completed the way I wanted it to. Also, I have many new books to add to the section. If you would like to preview the section, you can see it at Books in the Sections link at the top. V.C Andrews, Most of the computer books, User Friendly, Redneck and a few other sections are done at this time. If you stop back, you can definitely see progress and hopefully completion in the next few days.
