Opinions on the Aleeya.net and Girlgeekette.net

If you have a chance and wouldn’t mind giving your opinion, I am always open and welcome suggestions and criticisms on the sites. The more feedback I get, the more I can do. It is nice to have another pair of eyes to look at them.

Aleeya dotNet and GirlGeekette dotNet

I have been working to optimize them for Search Engines. The structure is the most I am working on now – as far as making sure they are optimized. As for asthetics, right now they are very plain and boring with only a couple of colours used. That will change in time, I want to get the basics down first.

Recipes – A New Category

Some things you just cannot grow out of. One of the things for me is some of my mothers cooking. Some nights, she would cook my favorite things to eat. Now that I am on my own, married and have my own son, I love to cook some of the meals my mother made for me.

The hard part for me is finding a place to keep all of the recipes. I have had to ask her again and again for the same recipes because I am always misplacing them. I am sure I have every index card somewhere that has the recipes on them.. I just need to find them. In the meantime, as I run across them, I have decided the best place for me to place them is on my own website. That way, no matter where I am, all I have to do is print one up and carry it into the kitchen or to the grocery with me.

So, inspired by the fact that I always seem to misplace them – and the fact I am sure my mother is getting tired of having to re-write the recipes over and over for me – I have decided to make a new category on my website with my favourite recipes.

It has been a while since I have had a change to do any updates. I have transferred to another city and time zone with my job. Hopefully, my life is settling down now and I will have more of a chance to do some updating.
