News Sub Pages
October 14, 2006
- I have planned out how I will make the News work on this site. On the left and at the top, you will see the News link. When you click on it, you will see the years on the left as the sub pages. Each year will have the months underneath it and that is where I will store the News Archives.
- For example: When you click on News. you will read the current months news with the latest entry at the top. On the left, under News, you will see
- 2006
- 2005
- 2004
- 2003
- When you click on a year, you will see each month listed. When you click on each month, you will be able to read the past Site News for that month and year.
- The main news page is where I will keep the current months news and when the next month begins, I will move the past month over to the left. This way, I will have all of the previous news and be able to keep the current at the first click on the News Page.
Aleeya dotNet V.2 – Kudos Viklund, Ainslie and GaMerRz
October 9th, 2006
As you can tell, I have once again changed the theme and version of WP on Aleeya.net. Even though I loved the simplicity of the old stripped down version, I decided to add a little colour. As I am working on this site again, I have a few goals to work tword.
- Make sure every page is 100% Error free and W3c compliant.
- Add the rest of the books sections
- Possibly delete the DVD section
- Transfer over the rest of the Awards section
- Update the Site news section
- Work on the layout a bit
- Post more SEO and WP articles
- Make sure all keywords are on every article
- Make sure tags are present on every article
- Intergrate Albums.aleeya.net into the blog or update all photo posts
The theme is heavily tweaked and color changed, modified from a wonderful theme. Credits of the theme and porting goto:
- Viklund he is the mastermind behind this theme.
- Next, it as ported for a wordpress theme by Ainslie Johnson.
- And, last but not least, this site is powered by WordPress
Hope you are enjoying this version of Aleeya dotNet as much as I am!
*Update*
Also, Thanks to GaMerZ, I have 3 new functions on this Aleeya dotNet v2. From each post, when you view the full post, you can now email this post to whoever you choose, you can rate the post, and you can also print the post in a print friendly version. The plugins I am using are:
and can be found on GaMerZ website to download. Excellent plugins that every site should have! I had no problems installing and configuring these plugins with WP 2.04
