I am extremely proud that Fyodor of Insecure.org placed the banners that I made for Nmap on his propaganda section. He has given permission for anyone to use them to link to his site.

About Nmap:
What better way to know your network and/or computer is secure than to test its security for yourself. Nmap is a wonderful tool that can help anyone. Whether you are just a computer user, a computer tech or a network admin, you can test your own equipment from the inside out. Find out where it is weak to make it strong - before someone else beats you to it.

You can read about Nmap more at Insecure.org . Insecure.org has received positive coverage from Info World, Linux Journal, Wired, SANS Institute, Sun World, Codetalker Digest, CIO Institute Bulletin, Computer World, Sys Admin, Network World among others. It is a place where security experts and professionals frequent for the latest security tools and information.

More of Fyodor’s work:
Also be sure to read about Fyodor’s fictional chapter in Stealing the Network: How to Own a Continent. It is an excellent read and very fascinating.

Also, if you have seen the Matrix Reloaded, you have also seen some of Fyodor’s work. Read about how Trinity uses Nmap on his site. There are also links to news articles written in BBC, Slashdot, SecurityFocus, Silicon.Com, Boston Globe, and CNET.

Battle Royale also uses a screenshot and there is an Nmap Easter egg in XScreenSaver.
