Cherry Delight is a quick and very easy dessert to whip up. Chill time is a few hours and it takes about 20 minutes to make. It almost reminds me of a cheesecake and a cherry pie mixed together. There is little mess to clean up and you pretty much mix the basics and pour the cherries over it. Stick it in the refrigerator and leave it until you are ready to serve it.
Ingredients
- 8oz of Cool Whip
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 8oz of Philadelphia Cream Cheese
- 1 can of Cherry Filling (For pies)
- Graham Cracker pie crust
Directions
Mix Cool Whip, powdered sugar, cream cheese with mixer. Pour over crust. Spread Cherry filling over the top. Leave overnight in fridge. Serve cold.

As a suggestion, if you want to speed up the freeze time or chill time if you wish to call it, put your fished cherry delight in the freezer for about 10-20 minutes. After every 10 or 20 minutes, open the freezer to check that you didn’t over chill it.
This might be more manually intensive but if you can’t wait a few hours for this delicious treat then this is definately the way to go! This is SO tasty!
