Fudge

This fudge is one of the easiest ones to make. Melt the chocolate chips, stir the ingredients in (quickly because the chocolate will thicken as it cools off), pour into a pan and stick it in the refrigerator for a few hours and serve. If you like, you can add chopped nuts to it as you mix the ingredients. This is one that always reminds me of Winter and Christmas-time – since that is usually when we made it.

Ingredients

  • 18oz Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (12oz and 6 oz bag combined)
  • 15 oz can of sweet condensed milk
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

Melt the chocolate chips over very low heat on the stove. (Do not leave sitting and keep stirring constantly it or it will burn) Remove when melted. Add other ingredients. Stir quickly and until smooth. Pour into 8″ pan lined with wax paper. Smooth top out with a spoon.

Refrigerate 2-3 hours. Cut into pieces with a knife and serve.
