As I was reading a post from Wordpress.org, I ran across FunkyMagic’s website website. On it, there is an article about a different kind of search engine, so I thought I would check it out.
Aleeya in a search result on Kartoo Search Engine
The Kartoo Search Engine is a different type of search engine to watch in action. It does the meta search that most do, but the results are displayed in a visual real time type of results. The results are shown in a map and how the different results relate to each other. For more information on the Kartoo Search Engine.
I have to say this is a very interesting visual. I am on a high speed 5.0 MB DSL Connection, so I have a hard time judging how it works on slower speeds and DSL, but this is great! For the times you want to see how your results relate to each other, this idea is brilliant!

This is actually an attempt to find some way of getting the HTML version of Kartoo.
On the site, it is said that HTML is available through Options. But it is not – or at least not in any way that I can find. There is also no way of asking Kartoo directly – again that I can find.
I wonder whether you can answer/
Thanks

where I have been. I just check this search engine. This is amazing, never though checking links and searching could be this much fun. Not only fun it is helping me to graphically see from where which link is connected to me… Thanks I really enjoyed it ..

The positive side about Kartoo is that it helps with the visual type of person (like me). I generally don’t like looking at too much text as it reminds me of college a lot but I obviously read here since, well, that’s the only way to understand what others are thinking or feeling.
The only gripe I have is that I’m on a low end dsl line and the bandwidth usage is very demanding, leading to slow lag and download times. But I hope kartoo keeps improving because I really love its concept!
