Although Blogging has been around for years, it hasn’t been until recently that it has really exploded into the limelight for the non-technical person to use – with ease and simplicity. Blogging software makes having a website easy and fun. Blogs can give you the benefits of a Search Engine Friendly website along with being highly customizable and not having to understand a whole lot to have it up and running in no time.
I have tried different CMS (Content Management Systems) for websites – Drupal, PHPnuke, WordPress, and a few others. Overall, I have found that WordPress is the one that I like the most. It has for me what I need and like. Out-Of-The-Box it is quick and easy to start a Website with. Although technically, it is a "blog" site, you can tweak and edit it and make it what you want.
If it is a Blog you want to try, whether adding it to a site you already have or starting a new blog from scratch, WordPress.com is the one to try. You can even sign up for a free blog from their site. Don’t expect an answer right away though. To create a blog, you must get an invite. Right now, I have an invite I would like to share with someone who would like to give Blogging a try.
If you are interested in a WordPress.com Blog invite, visit Erica’s Blog for details on how to get one. This is a first-come-first-serve invite. As I get more invites, I will be glad to hand those out as well.

Hello,
I use blogger.com. But thinking it’s not as good as wordpress, I hope I can get an invite too. Many thanks.
Wordpress.com hasn’t given me anymore in a while.. you might try getting in touch with Carla at http://carmige.com/. I beleive she said she had some.
If you still have invite, can I get one?
Hey
.
I was wondering if anyone has a spare Wordpress invite hovering around? I was going to get into blogging a while ago, but I kept on putting it off. So, if anyone has a spare one, I would be very gratefull if I could have it so I could start a blog of my own.
Thank you in advance
.
Regards,
Joe.
Thank you Carla. I will email him and let him know. I really appreciate it! Does WordPress.com offer more Invites the longer you use it? I know gmail started out with just one invite at a time, and now I have over 100 invites just sitting there.. I am hoping WordPress.com will add more than just one at a time so I can help offer more.
Aleeya, I came to your site by way of a search in Google, looking for sites that I can offer my WP invites to. If you want, you can have Raj Mohan email me, and I will send him an invite.
I am out at this time.
Hello,
Could I please have the invite? Please, please, pretty please? I haven’t blogged till now, although I have been watching the phenomenon, and I think WordPress rocks! Thank you so much.
Waiting,
Raj.
