When it comes to websites, some of the latest buzz words are quickly becoming SEO and SEF. SEO – Which stands for Search Engine Optimization – and SEF – Search Engine Friendly – seem to be the two hot topics that people want for their website when it comes to marketing. As discussed in Psychology of a Search and Reasons for Higher Listings
, the better your ranking in a search engine, the more likely you will have visitors to your website.
In my opinion, WordPress 1.5.2 already comes basically pretty "Search Engine Friendly" right out of the box. With a few more tweaks and plugins, it can be made to be very SEO.
Throughout learning how to tweak this site to get it better organized and more optimized for search engines, I have run across many ideas, plugins and tweaks to get WordPress to do the work for me. Ranging from changing a bit of the code in the theme’s main page, index or sidebar ot adding new plugins, I have found more ways to present each page to a search engine. As I continue on this journey, I will create a series of articles describing the processes and plugins I have used.

As a webmaster , I’m truely glad to see that another individual thought to post this topic.
Many people just don’t understand what all is involved in our field, and I think also we’re all too often not appreciated enough
or taken for granted. Never the less I’m very glad to see that you feel the same way I do , thanks so much for your blog!
