(No Ratings Yet)While re-creating aleeya.net, one thing I noticed in WP 2 is that pages do not have trackbacks like posts do. I am not quite sure why though, since many times I created a page that I wanted to give credit to someone using a trackback.
While searching and trying to figure out how to do this, I ran across a great plugin that is easy to install and does just this.
Slate at masterslate.org has created a plugin that solves the problems with pages not having trackbacks. You can read about this plugin and download it from the masterslate.org website. This is simple to install.. you just download it into your plugins directory and activate it. Next time you go to create a page you have an entry for trackbacks in your page write admin. Great job slate!

Wordpress Trackback for Pages Plugin…
Wordpress does not offer pinging capabilities for pages.
The fantastic Wordpress Trackback for Pages Plugin can fix this shortcoming.
